Notice for Members Regarding FCL & Unifor Local 594 Labour Dispute

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) owns the Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, Sask., and is in a labour dispute with its union. As a result of an ongoing labour dispute between the Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) and its union, Unifor Local 594, the CRC has locked the union out of the Refinery. While the CRC manufactures the fuel we sell, we are not party to the contract negotiations with the union. Calgary Co-op is a separate legal entity owned by 440,000 Calgary area members. Our Calgary Co-op locations are open for business and we do not anticipate any interruption in fuel supply at any of our locations. We look forward to FCL and the union coming to a resolution.
