Put on a pot of water for the pasta and preheat oven to 375°F.

Combine the butter, garlic and garlic powder. Smear onto the inside of the cut bread.

Place in oven cut side up and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

In a large pan, cook the bacon in the oil until crisp.
5.
Remove the bacon and now brown the meat in the bacon fat, about 5 minutes.

Add the onions and cook until the onions are translucent and soft.
7.
Add the bacon, ketchup, mustard, and water to the onion-meat mixture. Cook on low while the pasta cooks.
8.
Cook the pasta according to the package, drain and add to the sauce.
9.
Add the green onions and cook for 2 more minutes.
10.
Dish pasta into bowls, top with cheese and serve with the warm garlic bread.
