A pizza with vine ripe tomatoes, red onions and pepperoni
Pre-heat oven to 450°F or grill on high heat. Use a pizza stone for best results.
In a small bowl combine 1 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice and salt and pepper. Set aside the vinaigrette for the arugula.
**Roll out your pizza dough to about ¼” to ½” with some flour to your desired shape.**
Brush pizza skin with olive oil. Now spread the BBQ sauce in a thin layer on the pizza shell, leaving a ½” space on the edge for the pizza crust.
Now place the provolone slices onto the sauce and sprinkle with parmesan.
Top with pepperoni, then tomato wedges and red onions.
Place the pizza in the oven and cook for 8-12 minutes or place on the grill, close the lid of the grill and cook for 8-12 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
Toss the arugula with the lemon vinaigrette, sprinkle across the pizza, cut and enjoy!
