A variation to your usual oatmeal.
Rinse as much quinoa as you want to cook in a fine sieve under running water.
Cook in a pot of boiling water, as you’d cook pasta, for 12-14 minutes. Drain in the sieve and, if you want fluffy quinoa, dump it back into the empty pot, cover with a tea towel and leave it to steam for 5 minutes.
Serve with milk, brown sugar, fresh or dried fruit and nuts, just as you would serve oatmeal.
