Gluten-Free Cinnamon Bun French Toast

Not your usual breakfast fare – in fact, this tasty treat will blow you away.

Gluten-Free Cinnamon Bun French Toast

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 Gluten-Free Cinnamon Buns (we recommend using a product like Udi's Cinnamon Buns, thawed)
  • drizzle olive oil
  • pat of butter

How to Make It

  1. In a shallow dish, stir together 2 large eggs and 1/2 cup milk.
  2. Slice the rounded tops off of 4 Udi’s gluten-free cinnamon buns (thawed) and slice the bottoms into 3 slices.
  3. Place cinnamon buns in egg mixture and turn to coat, then let them sit to absorb some of the mixture.
  4. Place a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat add a drizzle of oil and small dab of butter.
  5. When the foam subsides, cook the soaked cinnamon bun pieces for a few minutes per side, until golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with syrup or the icing drizzle that comes with the cinnamon buns.
