  • 4 Only Alberta Beef Steaks
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 2-3 fresh organic garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground pepper

How to Make It

  1. Choose from a selection of  steaks (striploin, sirloin or rib steaks make excellent choices). 
  2. Clean the grill of your BBQ and make sure it is very hot - remove your steaks from the cooler while your grill heats up.
  3. Soften a quarter pound of butter and mix in 2-3 cloves of fresh crushed garlic and the juice and zest of one fresh lemon, along with sea salt and black pepper to taste. 
  4. Grill your steaks (seasoned lightly with sea salt and black pepper) with the lid up - don’t touch them unless you’re going to flip them! 
  5. When cooked to your liking, let steaks rest on a serving plate at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with a dollop of fresh citrus garlic butter on top.
