Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Fresh Whole Cranberries
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2.5 cup Cal & Gary's Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 Founders & Farmers Bay Leaves
  • 2 Founders & Farmers Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Whole Star Anise
  • 1 Orange cut into slices
  • 1/2 Lemon cut into slices
  • 6 Black peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 pinch Salt

How to Make It

1.

Add all ingredients into pot, bring to boil,(except cornstarch ) lower heat to a simmer, reduce liquid by a third. helpful tip: place cinnamon sticks, star anise, peppercorns, bay leaves, grated ginger, into loose tea bag then into mixture.

2.

Sift in cornstarch stir in , cook for another 10 minutes, remove spice bag , then a third of the whole cranberries into another bowl.

3.

Blend cranberry mixture in blender , add back in the whole cranberries, chill & serve
