Put on a pot of water for the tortellini and bring to a boil.
While water is coming up to a boil, place olive oil, lemon juice, kale, parmesan, garlic, and pine nuts into the blender. Blend until comes together to a pesto consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the tortellini to the boiling water and cook according to the package. Drain tortellini, place in a bowl and toss with the pesto.
Garnish with grated parmesan and enjoy!
