The Calgary Co-op Customer Feedback Survey Contest is a series of monthly contests. The Calgary Co-op “Customer Feedback Survey contest" (the “Contest”) is intended to be conducted in Canada only and shall be construed and evaluated according to applicable Canadian law. The Contest is open to Alberta residents only and participants must be the age of majority or older in the province of Alberta at the time of entry. The Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial and local laws. Void in whole or in part where prohibited by law. Entry in this Contest constitutes acceptance of the contest rules (the “Contest Rules”).
A) Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and must reside in Alberta.
B) Employees of Calgary Co-operative Association Limited (“Calgary Co-op”) and its wholly owned subsidiaries, co-sponsors, representatives, agents and their immediate families and people whom they live, are not eligible to enter.
C) No purchase is necessary.
D) Entries that are mutilated, tampered with or illegible are considered void. Calgary Co-op has the final decision regarding eligibility of entries.
E) Calgary Co-op shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Calgary Co-op for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. Calgary Co-op reserves the right, in their sole discretion; to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
F) This Contest is subject to the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada as may be applicable.
2. CONTEST PERIOD
A) The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (“MST”) on Oct. 1, 2020 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. MST on Jan. 31, 2022 (the “Contest Period”) after which time the Contest will be closed.
B) During the Contest Period, Calgary Co-op will conduct 16 monthly contests (each a “Monthly Contest”). Each Monthly Contest will begin at 12:00:01 a.m. PT on the first day of each month during the Contest Period and will end at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on the last day of that month (the “Monthly Contest Period”).
3. CONTEST MECHANICS
A) At the outset of the Contest, there will be a total of sixteen (16) Prizes available to be won. One (1) Prize will be available for each Monthly Contest. The Prize is a $100 CDN Calgary Co-op gift card (value $100 CDN).
Total value of all Prizes available during the Contest Period is $1,600 CDN.
There is no limit on the number of Prizes that may be won by any one entrant during the Contest.
Prizes are redeemable only at Calgary Co-op FOOD and Petro stores and cannot be redeemed online at the https://shoponline.calgarycoop.com/ website. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions applicable to the Calgary Co-op gift card, are non-refundable and non-transferable, cannot be combined with any other special offer or promotion and must be accepted as awarded. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash value or substituted, except that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute a prize with either the cash value of the prize, or a prize or prizes of equal or greater value. Applicable taxes (if any) and any other costs or expenses associated with the prizes or the use thereof not expressly stated as being part of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Prizes available to be won in conjunction with this Contest include:

A) One contest winner will be selected on the 15th (or coinciding business day) each calendar month starting in November 2020 and ending on February 2022. To qualify for the respective monthly contest, submissions must be received by the end of the last day of each month and ending on January 31, 2022.
B) No Purchase is necessary to enter or to win. Entrants can enter each monthly draw automatically by completing the online survey or by submitting an essay no longer than 500 words describing why they should win the contest by the end of the last day of each calendar month to: Calgary Co-op Customer Feedback Survey contest, c/o Member Relations, Calgary Co-operative Association Ltd. #110, 151 -86 Ave. S.E. Calgary, Alberta T2H 3A5.
C) Qualified entries will consist of one entry in the Contest. Consumers may enter the contest online via completion of survey or via mail-in essay.
D) Limit of one (1) entry per day.
E) The odds of winning a Prize for a given Monthly Contest depends on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Monthly Contest Period. Number of prizes reduced as they are won.

G) The Contest Entities assume no responsibility for: (i) late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, postage-due, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, void, corrupted, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or Releases, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or other property, caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in the Contest; (v) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Contest, or (vi) any other errors whether caused by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the Contest.
H) By accepting a prize in this Contest, each winner grants to the Sponsor, where permitted by law, the right to use and publish (worldwide and via the Internet) winner’s name, image, likeness, hometown name and/or prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without notification, review or approval, and without additional consideration.
I) A Release and Indemnification is required upon acceptance of the prize.

1. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. They are non-transferable and have no cash value.
2. Odds of winning dependent on the number of entries received and the number of prizes left to be awarded.
3. The Prize Winner may claim his/her Prize in Calgary, Alberta within ten (10) business days of notification of being selected as a winner. Failure to claim the prize within the allotted time period may result in your disqualification and forfeiture of all rights to the Prize (in the Calgary Co-op’s sole discretion).
4. Prize will be claimed at the Calgary Co-op centre of the Prize Winner’s selection.
5. The prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of Calgary Co-op.
I) Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited and have no cash value. Calgary Co-op reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize (or any portion thereof) cannot be awarded for any reason.
A) Calgary Co-op and its promotional partners reserve the right to use any contestant’s voice or image likeness in promotional material surrounding the contest.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
A) Calgary Co-op assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies or any release, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. Calgary Co-op is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the contest. Calgary Co-op assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Calgary Co-op is not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, e-mail, players, or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing. Calgary Co-op is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. Calgary Co-op assumes no responsibility or liability in the event that the contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Calgary Co-op, such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, the contest website and/or facebook.com.
B) Calgary Co-op reserves the right to end the Contest, or amend the Official Rules at any point during the Contest.
C) By entering this Contest, entrants acknowledge these Official Rules and agree to abide by them.
D) All Prize Winners are required to sign a Calgary Co-op Prize Disclaimer form.
